There is a Mycenaen settlement found around the temple of Athena, dated 1600 B.C.
A number of other Mycenaen settlements from archaic period are thought to exist under the ancient city of Miletus. No monuments are found yet, but it is almost obvious that this took place as Mycenaens left their island, they settled in and around Miletus.
The excavations are still going on.
